Shine curriculum products are created with your children in mind.

Each age group includes products specifically designed for that developmental stage. Shine age groups overlap to allow you to choose the span that works best for your children: Early Childhood (ages 3–5); Primary (grades K–3); Middler (grades 3–6); Junior Youth (grades 6–8); and Multiage (grades K–6). Multiage is especially designed for congregations with a small number of children in Sunday school.

Two key products are the Early Childhood CD and Shine On: A Story Bible for Primary and Middler children. Both of these products are purchased once and are used throughout three years of Shine curriculum. Families in your church can also purchase these two products as valuable faith formation pieces to use at home.

Early Childhood (ages 3-5) incorporates nested leaflets filled with colorful, child-friendly activities. Leaflets can be pulled apart to send home. A parent section helps families connect to church and home.

Primary children (grades K-3) use nested leaflets with lively, creative activities. These leaflets can also be sent home with children and include a section to help parents connect the lesson to life at home.

Middler children (grades 3-6) use Glow, a 48-page student magazine with articles and activities.

Junior Youth (grades 6-8) use L.E.D., a 32-page student magazine that helps coordinate learning and faith formation in each session.

Multiage classes (grades K-6) can use either the primary leaflets (for K-3) or the Glow magazine. Teachers can choose student pieces according to age.

Shine Together: The Essential Guide for Leaders and Teachers is an excellent teacher training guide. Learn how to use Shine and welcome children; focus on the spiritual practice of teaching, and ponder ways to lead and learn from children of each age level.
